Fr. Seidel was born and raised in Billings, MT. After attending public school through 8th grade he transferred to the local Catholic High Schoo, Billing Central. It is there that Fr. Seidel began to personally engage in his faith and ultimately found his vocation to the priesthood.

As a priest he has served as a parochial vicar at St. Mary's in the Spokane Valley and the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes. He was then made the administrator of the parishes in Medical Lake, Reardon, and Sprague. During this time he also served a chaplain to the Spokane Police Department, a formation advisor to and theology instructor for Bishop White Seminary, and a board member for the Catholic Foundation of Eastern Washington.
In the Fall of 2018 Fr. Seidel moved to the Walla Walla Catholic Schools where he began as the chaplain, theology teacher, and board member. In July of 2019, Fr.
