Dear Parents,
At the beginning of this year I noted that the WWCS would strive to form a culture of consistency and correction. It is odd to put these two ideas together considering they are so often in tension with one another. Yet, we believe that too much change and too little change are both harmful to students and families. With the recent spike in cases I sought to maintain the consistency of the metrics that I had put in place at the beginning of the year, while continuing to make corrections as we weighed the relative benefits and detriments of each learning mode on students, families, and the whole Walla Wallace community. For this reason, two weeks ago I modified the metric so as to keep students at Assumption in-person at least to some degree. Starting this monday, I will again modify our learning mode. We will return 4-6 to full-day, in person instruction, and 7-12 to half-day instruction. The schedules are on the COVID updates page
In Christ,
Fr. Seidel
